MVP VENDOR PROGRAM

We're looking for MVP Vendors who can provide discounted goods or services to Athens Ohio Roller Derby (AORD). MVP Vendors are businesses that offer percentage discounts or reduced rates where AORD still pays a discounted fee (not free/donated). In return for your support through cost savings, AORD will acknowledge your business on our website and social media platforms throughout the season.

With your discounted services/products, we hope to continue growing as a league and bettering our community. By helping us stretch our budget further, you enable us to continue our search for a sanctioned space to practice and potentially become WFTDA certified, which would in turn mean hosting more home bouts in Athens in the future. Your business will be acknowledged on our website and across our social media channels, which have an average reach of 8.3k people.

What MVP Vendors Receive:

• Business listing on AORD website

• Recognition on social media platforms (8.3k average reach)

• Association with a values-driven community organization

• Support for local Appalachian Ohio athletics

• Tax-deductible business expense/charitable contribution (consult your tax advisor)

How It Works:

Work with our Finance Committee to establish a discount arrangement that works for your business. This could include percentage discounts on products or services, reduced rates for venue rental or equipment, special pricing for printing, merchandise, or supplies, or professional services at nonprofit rates.

GOALS:

• Have our own space to practice and host bouts

• Host, at minimum, three home bouts each year (but ideally monthly or bi-monthly)

• Grow the skater membership to support two teams: Appalachian Hell Betties and Black Diamond Betties

• Continue to support local community through donations, promotions, and volunteering
