What year did you join the league? I first started with Tucson Roller Derby in 2005, joined the Dominion Derby Girls in 2006, and have been with Athens Ohio Roller Derby since 2016.

What inspired you to join? I had been retired from the Dominion Derby Girls out of Virginia Beach for two years. My family and I were getting ready to move to Athens and I came across a video from AORD. I started lurking on their pages and was drawn to their community-centered vibes. I reached out, was welcomed with open arms, and the rest is history.

What advice would you give someone who is considering joining a roller derby league? Be prepared for a life-changing endeavor and to meet friends you'll carry with you through old age.
