What inspired you to join? My love of skating

What song should play whenever you step onto the track/into the bout? I could never choose just one!

How did you come up with your derby name? I wanted a character name that was a play on words. I also don't want to be placed in a box with labels people assign to each other based on stereotypes, and formed from a limited knowledge of who somebody is at their core. My favorite childhood character was Punky Brewster. She seemed to defy stereotypes, so it works. Also, I can be a punk sometimes. ;)

Favorite pre- or post-derby snacks? Protein, banana, H2O

What advice would you give someone who is considering joining a roller derby league? Do it!
